About Us

Brief introduction to part of my purpose. West Wave is a movement, it is a way to connect and bond so we can all evolve. A fresh cut can definitely boost confidence and self-esteem. Another positive effect of a haircut or style is lowered stress and anxiety levels. My intent is to assist you with fulfilling all your grooming needs.

In 2020 my Wife and I, sold or packed up everything and took a leap of faith to move our 3 children to Oklahoma City from Los Angeles. Yes, in the middle of the pandemic!!! We left behind all our family and memories to pursue my aspiration of becoming a Barber.

Before the Pandemic there a tragic incident that changed my life forever. We lost my older brother “Richard”. Rich, who had always dedicated his time to help others look beautiful and feel good about themselves. My brother Richard was a Licensed Cosmologist in West Los Angeles, California. Rich had always encouraged me to push beyond my comfort zone of cutting our “primos” hair or the homies that needed a “quick fade” and get my license for Barbering to work by his side.

Nowadays, I feel the need to share his story because My Older Brother lost this devastating battle to the Fentanyl epidemic. Like many of families, understanding and educating ourselves about the challenges and heartache we all face in addiction is becoming common. Although Richard is not here working by my side, I push to thrive everyday in his living memory.
